May be you are thinking that the whole web is talking about Microsoft and Yahoo! takeover or merger and we are not. Well I use many Yahoo! services and I am also a Yahoo! fan so I don’t think this takeover will be that good. Microsoft works on different policies and Yahoo! has different thinking as Google have its own place.

Users are on Yahoo! because they are that, MSN is a different thing. After all it comes from the computer giant Microsoft who sends them huge traffic and new users from there Windows operating system and other resources. To save themselves by this hard takeover Yahoo! have chosen a different path, to tie up with Google instead of laying its arms in front of Microsoft.
When first time Yahoo! started web search Google was its search partner, but when things grown up Yahoo! launched Yahoo! Search and its own advertising network. Google because of its simple yet effective service stayed leader in the internet search market and yesterday also launched its Google Ads for TV. Now after half a decade the two big names are coming with each other again. Google and Yahoo! combined holds more than 75% of the internet search and advertising market so it will be a nice deal.
Google have the ads and Yahoo! has the content, this partner ship will be the most successful and beneficial for everyone. On more than 50 portals and services of Yahoo!, in many ad formats Google can sure provide better revenues than present situations. Recently the two companies have done a trial run for the ads on their network and it was quite successful as it had to be. Now Yahoo! is becoming more and more serious to opt for this option which seems the only one now to get out of Microsoft burden more efficiently and wisely.
