Next time you search for a Videos on Google you should better know about its new features. Google recently launched new features and interface packed Google Video Search engine. That’s same; you have to choose Video like you do for Image search on google.com. This new interface will present you with the most searched videos on the homepage with option to upload you own or search for videos hosted by Google only. You can also refine your search by Most blogged, Most shared, Most viewed or Movers & Shakers videos. If you are logged in you can also see your previous uploaded video right from there too.
Now when you search for a video, instead of the links to the video you will be presented with real videos in front of your screen in search results. Like you have searched for Nokia 96 you will be presented with all the videos related to that’s search keyword. What’s more, the most popular video in this keyword will be focused in the right side of the screen in big to play. To play other video results just click on them and they will start playing on the big side. The new interface of Google Video Search is impressive and yet useful.
Currently most of the videos displayed directly in the search results should be embedded, other then that will not be played and link to the corresponding site page will be provided as normal. Embedded video means videos from sites like YouTube, Metacafe and other well converted video sources. Google Video and Search new look will provide more easy interface and thanks to the big screen in the right you can just relax and watch all your video on that search page itself without clicking on another websites. Don’t you think this all means that now there is one webpage for all your online videos?

Yup. The new interface really looks good with all that suggestion work on either sides of the main video. It is really good now.
But I couldn’t find a way to maximize the video unlike in the earlier interface. Have I missed something?

Yes, the videos displayed on the search results don’t have that option, but once you click on the video they will take you to YouTube or their individual sites and then you can watch them in full screen. May be this option is disabled in the search itself, so users will visit video hosting site for this feature.
