Windows XP Service Pack 3 is Available now

Windows XPThese days’ lots of things are happening in correspondence with Microsoft Windows XP. Meanwhile long waited Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 is now available online via Microsoft Update service. This is the last official service pack or update for this operating system from the Microsoft as we all know that XP is going off the market in June 2008.

In our last article about XP we have informed you about how XP will still come preinstalled in computers but only in new cheap systems, which some company have plans to mass produce. But the big computer giant Dell has announced that it will continue to offer Windows XP in its systems till June 2009 and HP and Lenovo also have some similar plans. Dell commitment will mean whole one year more availability of XP then its original production expiration from the Microsoft.

XP rumors and news don’t end here. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has given another hope for XP lovers saying that if user will want XP to stay for a longer time they can extend the 30th June deadline. But they have not done so till now. His famous statement about XP “You want XP, we’ll keep XP” is floating all over the web from some days. Let’s see what all this will do for the best operating system ever seen in Windows line-ups, XP!
