When we are talking about the most famous and widely accepted internet browser from the computer giant Microsoft, you may be thinking how it can lack support. Well it is happened with the new Internet Explorer 8 Beta version that is available for consumers to try and provide feedback. The latest Internet Explorer 7 dominance is getting over very soon with its 8th version but have we said it very soon?
The latest Internet explorer 8 which on one hand provide the latest technology Activities, which are contextual services that provide quick access to external services from any webpage and WebSlices from which sites can expose portions of their page as a WebSlice, which users can subscribe to, as new features also lacks something very important. IE8 lacks support of windows update, the official update and backup service of Microsoft. It means that it will not update itself for error and bugs that user will report to Microsoft and what they encounter during the trial. Infect if you try to update it via Microsoft update, the update site will deny to accept this browser as a windows internet explorer family browser so there is no way to do that.
The support problems just not end here at all. The internet giant for email and other popular applications Yahoo! and search leader Google’s Gmail are also some of the unsupported web application that can’t be run on Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. The only way to use Gmail in this browser will be to use the inbuilt Internet Explorer 7 emulation mode that will handle it like the IE7. Now the problem with the popular new version of Yahoo! Mail is, when we try to access it the site gives the error that this browser is not supported yet. As the previous Yahoo! declaration that the all new Yahoo! Mail will quite work well on IE6 and above is not going as said. Because IE8 is not making it possible and again when we use the emulation mode it also opens and works fine.
So there is lot of bugs and error fixing with the all new Microsoft Intent Explorer 8 and sure with the official update service. I am sure will get stuck to my IE7 for some time till there will be some good news’s for the IE8.
If you are looking for the Internet Explorer 8 anyway and want to give it a try, you can download it from the official Microsoft Download website.
