Gmail can become Spam Producer

By Siddharth Gaur | May 12, 2008

GmailGoogle approach to email, the Gmail service which is very popular and runs on the state of the art technology is in danger. Recent survey of an internet security research team shows that some flaws in the Google Email system can easily become toys in the hand of spammers and can create a chain of spam.

Google email Gmail is regarded as a safe and secure email service and so it is not blacklisted in most of the services worldwide. By this flaw a spammer can attack easily by Gmail and can send more than 4000 emails in 6 hours. If a spammer also uses the Gmail famous email forwarding function which let you use another emails address in one inbox and using more Gmail accounts he can send more than 1000 messages per minute.

Google till now have not said a word on this, and this glitch is not confirmed by Google and its sources. May be if there is something this big is going on, Google will fix it as soon as possible before it cause any damage to the system and the Gmail image.
