The Microsoft device to compete Apple and its iPhone Zune, have been updated. Microsoft has released a new version of its client software as version 2.5. This new version of the software will offer advanced features and options and is compatible with Vista and XP SP2.
To make Zune more popular and widely used, Microsoft is hard working to build a strong community around it. Zune lovers already have Zune Social, a social networking place just for its users to share what they want with messages, music sharing and comments about music and stars. The new software version, the 2.5 comes with an integrated support for the Zune Social.
That’s not all; the Zune Pass support is also present in the new update. This service enables user to interact with their buddies who use Zune to sync with their music and library. The new software will make it more easy and fast.
If you are happy enough with the software update only, there is something more with the content you get on Zune. Recently Microsoft has partnered with MTV, NBC Universal, VH1, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and other media sources to bring their content on the Zune platform. There is news that Microsoft Zune is also debuting in the Canada very soon.
