As the result of Microsoft discontinuation of its famous computer operating system Windows XP, there is lot of buzz that till what time limit users can get XP in market. As it is clear that Windows XP will stop coming in middle and high end consumer PC’s, many new company are ready to bring cheap computer with XP preinstalled.
Microsoft is also ready for that to provide XP in these cheep PC’s, after discontinuing its normal supply to compete Linux in the new emerging industry. The very first cheap PC now to offer Windows XP is Asustek Eee PC notebook. This laptop was a great success in America and now the manufacturer plans to also available this cheap laptop in Australia and with XP.
Before the current release of a XP based computer, the famous Eee notebook was coming with Linux OS named Xandros. But now company have decided to offer two variants in this line up. One of the same old and popular Linux Xandros and another one of the Windows XP. To cut down cost for the XP based PC the company will offer a 12GB hard disk drive only in comparison of 20GB HDD of Linux based computer.
The estimated price of this new PC will be around $550 and they will be available in June this year.
